Rental and Purchase Activity by Title
Activity charts are available for the following titles. The title name
specifies whether the data is rentals in the Rental Market or puchases in
the Purchase Market. The date in parentheses following the title name
is the date of last update. Click on the title name to see the chart.

- Weeks — the time along the x-axis is in weeks. Week 1 is
the first week of release. If there are sales (typically by reservations)
prior to the release week, the week number is set to 1. Rentals prior to
release week are typically "pirated" or illegally acquired and copied
tapes.
- Scale — the vertical scale is either in thousands of units
per week or millions of units. Depending on whether the chart is for
rentals or sales, the units may be tapes rented or tapes purchased.
